A Special PurrCon Experience at Wellbeing Fest

Slow down, get creative and enjoy a little feline-inspired calm at the PurrCon Cozy Cat Corner, a special interactive experience created by PurrCon founder and Wellbeing Fest featured speaker KJ McGlinn.

PurrCon is built around connection, community, education and, of course, cats. At Wellbeing Fest, KJ is bringing a taste of the PurrCon experience through a cozy, playful space designed to help guests pause, connect and have a little fun.

Kitten Therapy with ARPO

One of the highlights of the PurrCon Cozy Cat Corner will be special Kitten Therapy sessions featuring adoptable kittens from the Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership (ARPO).

Positive interaction with animals has been associated with reduced stress, improved mood and greater feelings of social connection. Sometimes, a few quiet minutes with a kitten can completely change the energy of your day.

ARPO will also be onsite sharing more about its rescue work, the animals in its care and opportunities to support or adopt.

More Than Just Cats

The Cozy Cat Corner also connects directly to KJ McGlinn’s featured Wellbeing Fest session, Presence Over Purrfection: A SuPURR Approach to Wellbeing.

Through her SuPURR Framework, KJ explores what cats can teach us about safety, connection, presence and rest — ideas that carry beyond the keynote and into the experience she is creating at Wellbeing Fest.

The Cozy Cat Corner gives guests a chance to experience those ideas in a lighter, hands-on way: slowing down, connecting with others, getting creative and simply being present.
